Viral video search project launches

With the help of the mighty brainy Tim W, we've been developing a viral video search engine, that helps find the best and most relevant viral videos around the internet.

Called Viral Sauce, the viral video search mechanic we've developed relies on on some nifty algorithms.

Hurrah for Rubber Republic (our viral marketing company)

The system will be further developed over time, to enable us to easily distribute virals around the net, to help us with our viral marketing efforts.

Definitely check it out and give it a go. It may not fully bring up the best results at the mo, but it certainly pulls out some interesting stuff.

More updates on this project soon.

I'm back

For all those who tune in for their daily fix of the Sockman blog - I apologise for the big paws . . . sadly I've been super busy with x-mas, moving house and of course work (packing socks).

Now I've got the internet in my new pad in Brixton, I should be set for some regular posting - charting the trials and tribulations of a sock entrepreneur.

Exciting things that happened in the last 4 weeks include:
- A v.fun Christmas office party in Bristol. It was a joy to see the 25 or so people I work with turn out for a right royal knees up (well dinner and drinks) in the Clifton Sausage.

- Art buying - I splashed out on some "graff" whilst down in Bristol before x-mas too. By Graff I mean of course graffiti - which because of the Banksy phenomenon, Bristol is now famed for and there is a burgeoning market.

- Christmas in Luxembourg - I went off to see my sister and her cute baby in Luxembourg which was super fun

- Bowling in Swindon - there's nothing classier than spending a Friday afternoon in the Megabowl in Swindon. I lost.

- Moving into my new house with Catherine - the most exciting (and tiring of all) is my move to Brixton with Catherine. Hurrah to the new flat. Boo to painting!
